COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME ANNOUNCES 2010 ENSHRINEMENT FESTIVAL SCHEDULE

South Bend, Ind.- May 4, 2010 -Thousands of college football fans from across the country will join the National Football Foundation from July 16-17 at the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, Ind. for the annual Enshrinement Festival, which will pay tribute to the storied careers of 23 of the game's greatest players including Tim Brown, Gino Torretta and Chris Spielman among others.
In addition to the multitude of football related events throughout the weekend, the schedule boasts a variety of family-friendly activities. The weekend's festivities will include a Celebrity Golf Tournament, Ladies Fashion Show and Brunch, Ribs Cook-Off, Cornhole Tournament, live concerts, Fireworks Spectacular, Grand Parade and Youth Football Clinic. The celebration culminates with the Enshrinement Dinner and Show on Saturday evening.
“The Hall of Fame is elated to bring another Enshrinement Festival to the community," said College Football Hall of Fame Executive Director Lisa Klunder. "We are celebrating our 16th year in South Bend, and have been working diligently to ensure that the festival continues to be engaging for the entire family. Last year was the most successful festival yet and it is imperative to our mission to continue that tradition of excellence.”
The College Football Hall of Fame has also launched a new website to specifically serve as the official home for annual Enshrinement Festival, www.enshrinementfestival.org. The site was created as a resource to encompass all aspects of the Enshrinement Festival for college football fans, attendees, media members and consumers. It features the most up to date information on the annual Enshrinement Festival. This includes event schedules, ticket information and biographies of each inductee. The site will also rotate content that highlights each of the 2010 Enshrinees as well as the various events within the two-day festival.
”The College Football Hall of Fame is proud to launch this new website as another means of our exemplary customer service,” said Executive Director, Lisa Klunder. “Our goal in creating this new website is to offer an online destination that is easily accessible and offers the public a convenient portal to access information and tickets for the Enshrinement Festival.”
The site was developed by Mishawaka, Ind. based Pathfinders Advertising and Marketing and will feature additional components in the near future, including online merchandise sales and as well as various multimedia elements.

Additionally, the Hall of Fame is proud to offer the community a unique opportunity to volunteer at the Enshrinement Festival. Various roles include hospitality, admissions, festival information guides, youth services, facility/maintenance and event related duties. Volunteers must be age 16+ unless supervised by an adult.
